SWAMPY PLAINS AND SNOWY MOUNTAINS- November 2008

Click for information on our Montana tripsJoin us for a day or two drifting the mighty Swampy Plain River in the shadow of the Snowy Mountains and Kosciusko National Park. This brilliant river runs through private property and is therefore not accessible to the bank angler. Rafting opens up the entire river to the fly fisher.

The cost of a day rafting the Swampy is $400 per person. Drifts start at 9am at Khancoban dam wall and finish on dark about 20km down river. This is approximately 12 hours of fishing. For those with limited spare time, we can fly you there from Melbourne (Essendon or Moorabbin) in an hour. For further click the link below or the photo above.

The option to fish other rivers in the region is possible and we can design a package to suit your time constraints. November is one of the peak times in the Snowy Mountains and we have some great rivers to explore should you wish to spend a few days with us. Come up for a day or two drifiting and another walking the banks of some of the most famed rivers of the region. Full day streamside guiding is $350 per person.
