While some choose to do a tuition in a larger group, the vast majority of our services are conducted one to one or for small private groups. These sessions are available daily and offer the beginner/intermediate fly fisher the opportunity to maximise their time with an instructor and short-cut the steep learning curve often associated with fly fishing.

Fly Fishing For Beginners by the Hour

Our beginner's fly fishing tuition offers a comprehensive introduction to fly fishing. With all equipment supplied, conducted initially on private lakes and waterways that contain good stocks of trout, it is the best way to enter the sport.

Learning to fly fish can be as easy as a one hour lesson with a guide. Some people prefer to try it out this way and the simple hour lesson can be extended by the hour to suit the specific needs of the participant.

A whole day or half day is easily arranged. Extended entomology and stream craft lessons are also available. We have five full time guides here every day of the year so phone us to make a booking!

Streamcraft by the Hour

For those who are at a higher level (intermediate - advanced) we are available for by the hour Streamcraft tuition. This service is available every day of the year either on our private waters or on any other river in the district. Whether you just want to learn how to fish small water, how to indicator nymph or even match the hatch in that all important last hour of light, we can help you.

Many people find the local conditions daunting but with the correct instruction you will soon be stalking Goulburn edgewater browns or fishing willow grubs to picky Rubicon fish.
