The new trout season begins on Saturday 4th of September and things are looking good for a great season of trout fishing ahead. Last year was very good but all indicators point to an even better one this year, with a lot more water around and more stocking of the Goulburn River to take place in the coming weeks and months.

For those up here on Opening Day we will be opening early at 6am and offering breakfast for anyone that drops in. From noon onwards breakfast will be substituted by a BBQ lunch. The fire will be going all day and we welcome all of you to drop by for a bite to eat and a chat. We have just returned from Los Roques and Montana so there is much to discuss.

New dates for Swampy, Mitta Mitta, New Zealand, Montana, Los Roques and Snowy mountain trips can be found on our upcoming events page. There is a lot going on and those interested should get in soon to ensure they don't miss out.

Our new drift boats arrive at the end of next month. We have ordered two versions from the USA that should cover most fishing options. Those that have never fished from one should try it out. It is a lot of fun and finally there is a model that suits our rivers in Australia. These will be the first of their kind in the country.
